CSMS and CSIA students have begun their travels to Singapore as part of the National Junior College and Cornwall School of Mathematics and Science project exchange programme. The students are travelling to Singapore for the first leg of the exchange in which they will team up with local students from NJC to research, investigate and explore a range of cutting edge mathematical and scientific challenges.

The aim of the exchange is to take on undergraduate research in some of science and maths fastest developing fields. These investigations will be continued when the Singaporean students visit Camborne later this year.

While in Singapore the students will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Singaporean culture, traditions and cuisine while staying with local families. With visits to local landmarks, attractions and events the exchange programme is an opportunity for students to engage in both scientific and international cultural discovery.
