As part of our programme to ensure all students in Cornwall are well-informed about careers open to them, we hosted an Education Business Partnership event at CSMS today. Members of the Scholars’ Community were able to learn more first-hand about careers as diverse as from working in engineering within healthcare to leading a construction business. Some students donned Personal Protective Equipment to tour the nearly-complete ‘Phase 2’ building work on the Nexus campus and identify all the STEM career opportunities within the construction profession, which will be complete in only a few days.
Others were able to drive a ‘Mars Rover’ robot that was brought along by Software Cornwall.
