Students in the Cornwall School of Maths and Science’s Y7-11 Scholars’ Community met for the first time today for a medical workshop delivered by Exeter University’s Medical School.
Members of the Medical School delivered an exciting session on the structure and function of the heart. The students got hands on with stethoscopes and learnt how Doctors can identify abnormalities in heart rhythms.
The atmosphere was buzzing as the members of the Scholars’ Community were able to experience life as a medical student.
